I met most of Motley Crue on Tuesday at their show at Jones Beach. Vince Neil was not feeling well supposedly, so I only got to meet from right to left, Tommy Lee (for the third time), Mick Mars, and Nikki Sixx. There were only 25 of us, but it was very brief. I talked to Tommy as Mick and Nikki were wrapped up in their own conversation. We all stopped talking as we were all told to pose. We got two pictures each. I was e-mailed the link today and I've saved them and resized them and now they are here. I don't know what else to say, but it was a great show. I was literally front row and center, so I was able to take some really spiffy pics and get the setlist at the end of the night from the security guard who was closest to me. Hopefully, the pics actually turned out well. I took 3 rolls of film. I haven't developed the film yet, but I shall soon as I really want to know how they turned out. It was really fun. I was so close, I didn't even have to use my zoom. I have never been front row and center for anything that wasn't general admission. It was worth the money I paid.

I don't usually stick up my middle finger(s), but I was following Mick Mars at the time.

Ha ha!
It was. What's also pretty cool is you commenting on this. You're the last person I expected to respond to it.August 20 2005, 03:40:31 UTC 6 years ago
Re: Ha ha!
You know what they say about people who assume... :)August 20 2005, 03:52:20 UTC 6 years ago
Re: Ha ha!
Is there not a difference between an assumption and an expectation?August 20 2005, 04:02:35 UTC 6 years ago
Re: Ha ha!
Well, sure. It's almost more concrete that you're expecting things of me (or not). But that tends to happen to me, especially with people who might have known me when I was 8. It's not a big deal.Point remains, those are cool pics.

Re: Ha ha!
Yeah, that's what I thought, so I moved from the world of assumption into the world of expectation and people don't have cliches about expectations, do they? o_0Were we 8-years-old when we met? I don't remember. Was it first or second grade?
Thanks for thinking the pics are cool. Hopefully, you mean we look cool because they're pros. They're supposed to look cool. I was trying my hardest to look good since it was part of the expensive experience. However, if you're talking in terms of composition, etc. then that's not me. Look through my LJ for pics taken by me.

Re: Ha ha!
They're cool because they're pics of you with Motley Crue. (Duh?)The photos you take are cool for different reasons. I live vicariously through all my photographing friends, having no camera and no coordination for a decent shot.
And I'm guessing we must have met in first grade, but my memory is for crap.

Re: Ha ha!
Ah... yeah, well, hopefully, they're cool because we all look good. Hahaha... sorry, but if you spend hundreds of dollars to get a seat in the first two rows, get a program, some guitar pics, an autograph from each member and two photos, then excuse me for being vain and hoping we all look good. ;)Thanks for noticing my photos. The background of my LJ is a photo of mine, too. I love taking pictures and I like taking nice ones.
Who was your first grade teacher? If it wasn't Mrs. Drucker, then we met in second grade when we had Mrs. Kinn(e)y.

Re: Ha ha!
It was Mrs. Drucker. Then Mrs. Kinney (and then she died, probably from all the smoking), and then Mrs. Araujo (who wore glasses) and then Mrs. Loukisass (who was way too blond), and then Mr. Thomasek (who moved to the Phillipines and got married).... and then I went off to middle school, so I am assuming you may have had Mr. Bleischer, who talked to me about current events. My memory is selectively good; I didn't have anything better to do as a kid but pay attention to our teachers. :p At least I didn't get picked on.

Re: Ha ha!
I hated Mr. Thomasek. I remember all our teachers. I remember Mrs. Kinney being found dead in the restroom. My grade six teacher was Mrs. Dono.On a happier note, I loved Mrs. Loukissas. She really made me feel good about myself.

Mr. Thomasek blinked too much.August 20 2005, 15:55:16 UTC 6 years ago
Re: Ha ha!
Yeah, I really didn't like him at all. He gave us too much work.As for Mrs. Loukissas, she really made me feel smart. I don't think I really felt smart until I had her for a teacher.
